The driving out doesent always work if you dont have a sleeve puller they are easy to make or even rent one. If you have a welder just weld around the bottom on the inside of course as thats where its stuck along with a pile of crud rusted fast to the outside water side of the sleeve. Sometimes you even need a hy press iv done a pile of them and you never realy know how hard they can be stuck same way getting a stuck piston out as there are times when they are rusted fast and theres no way to remove them just have to press sleeve and piston out together then you can use a portable band saw to split the sleeve and remove the piston to salvage the rod which can also be a huge problem BTDT i can think of three rite quick that waws that way. In fact i have one rite now mite be the same way as its pretty bad and theres nothing that would remove the crud and even if you got it removed the piston is still rusted to the sleeve. Two pices of 1/2x2 flat bar one long enough to cover the bottom and the top long enough to clear the rim of the sleeve use a spacer on top and having a 3/4 hole in each piece then use 3/4 theraded rod you can probaly do the job. I have a lathe amd welder so i made my own puck for the bottom and bracket on the top.
