Well it sounds like you found the reason for the radiator over pressure. If that water jacket was cracked it would over pressure the cooling system and then help blow that hole in the radiator. If you know a good welder he can repair that crack and then take it to a good machine shop for finishing. Wouldn't hurt if the machine shop and welder were together. Good luck, LarryT
