got a 1466 that I rebuilt the pto clutch in this summer. the owner said it worked real good chopping etc. Anyways he was hauling manure with a 1000 rpm spreader and the pto stopped. I put my test gauge in the test hole and got 300psi so the pressure is good so I dont think it would have any internal leaks. The pto will not turn on even with nothing hooked to it. He told me the spreader was froze and he slipped the pto a little to get it broke loose but the pto worked fine for about 5 loads then quit. Could he have smoked the clutch out that easy? I would think it would still run with nothing hooked up to it. What do you guys think? He is brining the tractor here for me to look at and was wondering about warranty. I will know more when I get it apart. But how do you warranty something that could possibly be abused?
