Does look like the same caliber of your modifications, Wardner. In the good way.
As nice as it looks, mounting the platform looks like a beginner's yoga class. Still much better seat access than some of the add on after-market attachments put on pre-60s Farmalls however (and some IH mounted equipment as well). Might be worth adding handles and steps, and shifting the seat one way and a fender another. Converting to front/side entry might be an option when appearance is not a priority.
I've seen my 60 some year old dad miss the steps while exiting a 56 series more than once so I think about operator access more often than others.
