Hey all,

I'm posting this out of curiosity.. A couple years ago ( I think it's been 2/3 years ago now.. ) there was a sale a couple doors down where they sold off a old neighbor's stuff after he had passed away.

If I remember right, the sale was in May, and was here in Maybee, MI. He had a few tractors, one being a 1206. It was a pretty rough old girl, but he used it still. I'm attaching a picture of it (although not a very good one).

I wanted to buy it when they had the sale, but money didn't allow it, and still wouldn't to this day.. Some day I will have a 1206, as I think they have a really impressive look when they're all freshened up.

I just wonder if anyone here did buy it, and if so, what became of it? Is it fixed up now, or did it get parted out or ??? Seems like after the sale the PO's son said it was going out east.. Maryland, maybe?? (which I thought odd, because it was pretty rough.. thought a nicer one could have been found closer)

Again, if anyone knows of it's whereabouts, I'd really like to know what ever happened to it.. Just a tractor I remember from growing up, and would just like to know what became of it.. Really hope someone fixed it up.. If it has been fixed up, I'd really like to see a picture.

TIA,

Brad

Today's Featured Article - The David Brown Rose Badge - by Samuel Kennedy. In the 13th century civil war was raging in England. Two English noblemen were involved in a conflict which became known as the War of the Roses. The Duke of York had as his emblem a white rose and the Earl of Lancaster had a red rose. Today the white rose is the official emblem of the county of Yorkshire and the red rose has been adopted by the neighboring county of Lancashire. ... [Read Article]
