As far as I can tell from what I have read, there is no real way to verify the authenticity of a "Demo" model that was painted white...as such, I doubt the fact that there is white paint under the red paint really adds value to the tractor. If that were the case, most of the 1950 Cs you see would have had the red paint stripped and they would be white. As to the worth of a 1950 C...well it depends. Does it have hydraulics and a fast hitch? I think those could be retrofitted even though the fasthitch wasn't available until 1952. How are the tires? Paint condition? Has anyone bothered to give it a compression test? Enough questions...you want answers. I have no answers but opinions, but here goes...If the tractor is in fair to good condition it should be worth $1000-$1500 depending on degree of completeness, tires, paint, and sheet metal condition...add another $400 for the Woods...BB
