kev Mine's a diesel....I sure love that ole girl! That is one tractor that is fun to drive! Doublecheck the clicking axle bearing before tearing it apart......I found steel balls in the rearend after changing the differential oil one time and thought I had an axle bearing out too. I pulled the pto out and took off the bull gear and the bearing was fine.........the bearing that went out was the one behind the brake pack on that short little stub shaft. I'm pretty sure you can replace that one without tearing into the backend if I remember right. 3 bolts and that brake assembly is off and then you can look and see. Don't loose the little balls when you pull it apart....chances are they probably need replaced anyways....the one's in the brakes, not the bearing. Take care and good luck with your new toy. Even though it's a gasser I think you'll still royally enjoy it! Rich
