Hooray !!! The 'ol Farmall "H' finally runs real sweet now. I took the advise of the many responders to my question. I replaced the plug wires, double-checked the carb. settings; and finally....finally removed the magneto after much studying how to "time" it after re-installation. I replaced the points & condensor. I am happy to report that it no longer sounds like a JD 'B'; (Perish the thought) Thanks to "the red, Joe, Greg Meadors, and Dave and others for their valuable input on my farmall problem
