The two ports on the left side and the one port on the right side of your tractor are ALL pressure ports. Oil returns to the pump reservoir through the SAME line it came out. That's why the system is called "single-acting" and relies on gravity to lower your 3pt hitch. The left-front port and the right-side port are on the same circuit. The left rear port is a "delayed" port that doesn't respond until pressure reaches near maximum in the front two. It was designed to lift the rear gang of cultivators after the front gangs had raised. It's timed pretty well for 3rd or 4th gear, depending on tire size and cylinder size. When both circuits are in use, pushing the control rod past the first detent spot releases pressure on both front ports. Pushing the control rod all the way down releases pressure on the back port. Auxiliary valves may be added to allow the system to act as a double-acting system. These provide a return line to the fill port on top of the unit. The fill port may also be used as a return port when driving a hydraulic motor. Red is right-on concerning the pressure, assuming no one has "fiddled with" the pressure relief spring!
