The exhaust pipe is threaded into the manifold. If you can remove the old pipe (not easy sometimes) and keep the threads intact, I think the better solution would be to replace the pipe. I know you can get pipes for the H, so I assume that you can still get them for the C. Try to unscrew the old pipe first. I have heard of guys using a propane torch to heat the manifold a dull red and then taking a pipe wrench to the pipe. It is a 2 man job. Don't put so much pressure on it that the pipe collapses (again, not always easy to do). Good luck...others will probably have better solutions....regards...BB
