It has all the advantages the others have mentioned. I haven't had any trouble with carbs or regulators, but the regulators can become clogged with crud in the water half of it.
Does your still have the cut hood on it?
I can't remember the S/N break but is yours a stage I or II? Mine are both stage II but there was a stage I a guy was trying to sell not too far from here.
I belive mine is a stage one with M&W live hyd added uses belly pump as res tank. Whats your serial ?Can u get me the # of that guy? lol
