i did have my loader there with hay spear on, and chain hanging.. but could only do so much with a pice of cast iron swinging from a chain. you can probably see my 850 peeking in the back of that last photo...
even with it hanging, it was still a decent piece of iron to manhandle.
lower pedistal on the other hand.. no room for a chain or floor jack.. but a lil 4 ton bottle jack did fit under there. some cursing and it finally lifted her up so i could put the 3 nuts back on the studs, and the one stud back in that backed out.. :)
ya know.. when all this heart stuff stearted last november, I noticed my wife would periodically walk out to the shop when iw as out there working, especially if I was out there all day. she has never done this inthe 12ys we've lived there. I thought it was odd that she was walking out to see what I was doing, so asked her one day what she was curious about.
that's when she said she was coming out to make sure I wasn't keeled over. ;) does stop and make ya think for a moment.
i for sure can't do what I used to, strenght isn't there.. or back yet maybee?.. but I can still swing a hammer amd yank on a prybar... except now it peters me out in an hour or two instead of 8 or 9 :) :)
