I think you are better off with a full tank than an empty tank ( and I do mean FULL - to the top). An empty tank always seems to collect moisture which produces rust. A full tank -- not such a problem. You can either store it with stabilizer in the gas or just drain the gas and start it up with new gas when you decide to take it out of storage. When you take it out of storage expect water in the oil pan, tranny, differential etc. If you sell it you will NEVER forgive yourself.
