Just brought a 51 M home with a wide front and I"m trying too I.D. the unit. It has floatation tires on the front with 6 bolt hubs and 4-5/8" center hole in the wheels. From everything I find, it appears too match a Heavy Duty Schwartz wide front end. However, there is one problem I"m finding.....the axle tube clamp on the front of the axle. Everything I"m finding has one clamp at the end of the larger tube. Mine has two side by side on each end. I cant find any I.D. tag or part no"s on any of the parts and there is only a yellow painted stencil on the front center bolster plate on the front of the tractor that appears too read " K E 2811" ??? I cant barely make it out due too rust and fade so it might read differently. Thats the only marking I can find.
Any idears???? Thanks gang. I"ll downloads some pics. and try too post them.
