CUB CARBURETOR PROBLEM

I JUST REBUILT MY CUB IHC CARB. WHEN I REINSTALLED THE FLOAT AND CHECKED THE FLOAT LEVEL IT WAS 3/16" MORE THAN SPEC! SET TO SPEC & REINSTALLED. TRACTOR RAN FINE. BUT AFTER SHUT OFF A WHILE GAS STARTED TO DRIP OUT OF FUEL BOWL DRAIN. TOOK APART AND SET FLOAT LEVEL 1/16" BEYOND SPEC. SAME PROBLEM- BOUGHT A NEW FLOAT/ SAME PROBLEM-CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME! THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY! THIS PROBLEM DID NOT EXIST PRIOR TO OVERHALL. THANKS BUZZ
