I know that all the bolts that hold the rear split are 5/8 inch in Dia. One question, did you remove the bottom center bolt? That's the bolt that is under (maybe I should say above) the small cover on the bottom of the TA housing. You said that you have removed 9 bolts I can not remember how many bolts there are for sure. I have a TA housing setting on my transmission stand at my shop that I will count in the morning. I'm planning on making it into a cutaway model for RPRU this summer.
The rear split can be fun to break loose if the last time the two sections were apart and somebody used some gasket sealer that is really holding it together. Good Luck Charlie
