Sometimes if your surface is fairly smooth and you use enough paint on a brush it will look decent. But 9 times out of 10 it will look like you painted it with a paint brush. If you put the time into doing a restoration, do the best that you can. I suggest a spray gun. There are exceptions, but for the majority of things. Bill {Antique Acres}
