The 300 I am working on has a hole in the oil pan and a hole in the gas tank, both in the bottom where I assume water collected. Neither hole is bigger than 1/8" or so. Is there a reasonably permanent way to repair these or should I replace them? I was thinking about soldering the pan, but not sure if that would be suitable or not, and I have no idea about the tank. For now I will be using a 1 gallon plastic tank to get the engine running. Any advice will be much appreciated. By the way, I tested the starter and it did turn the engine over, thank you for all of the advice. Zach
