The wheel centers came painted red. If you have the rear split rims they would have come galvanized off the assembly line, matching fronts would have also been galvanized originally also. These have the locking lugs that hold the rim to the cast center.
If you have round spokes, or cut-offs they would be all red.
I have seen a 36 F20 Narrow tread with a wide front at a show in Michigana few years back.
He had the F & H 36 round spokes on the rear and the fronts were round spokes also, he painted the all the centers & spokes red, masked them off and painted the rim itself silver, that really set off the dark battleship gray tractor, may not have been factory but it sure looked sharp.
