ok guys.....

Tomorrow is the day the Colby 560 lights back up as NEW machine. Electrical is all working, tomorrow we'll bring it back to life and start it back up. Dont worry I'll have video camera running, time for some YouTube I think. :)

It's really getting close, just bunch of little things to get done but we are honestly at the finish line.

List to finish tractor:

-add in new hyd oil

-bolt dash back on & tie up all the wires, every is done & working.

-put in new gease zerks

-mount led dash light (got two 9led strips to replace those two bulbs)

-install various new chrome hardware (next week before it's here) includes front wheel bolts, air cleaner, two pieces of cast that hold rear hyd coupler, few other "little things"

-put teflon tape on all the sheet metal that is touch metal

-need to get new screen for front grill & paint it

-cut piece of rubber for floor mat

-install two rear lights (one is at paint shop) and mount LED lights. Both look clear but one is red w/ programable strobe (from Whelen)

-install remaining hardware on 2pt and springs on pedals.

-have custom air filter coming

-install t-bolt hose clamps on 3/4 water line

-install stainless 3" exhaust clamp

-general paint touch up

ok this is the short list... we are nearly there and I'm ready.

plan will be to have tractor up and running, before we install all the hood work.

Did mount the two side panels couldnt take it much longer, my goodness does this thing look amazing. The paint job really looks sharp, we'll pull them off tomorrow before we start it and start on our checks of everything.

Today's Featured Article - A City Guy's First Tractor - by Fred Hambrecht. After living in apartments in Atlanta for more years than I care to remember, the wife and I decided to move to the country. Humming "Green Acres is the place for me..." we purchased a 29 acre tract about 60 miles south of Atlanta. Next came the house, I could talk about that ordeal for another two weeks... But, I want to talk about my tractor! We didn't even own a lawnmower, and all of a sudden we had enough grass to feed all the starving children of the bovine world. Naturally, I talked ...
