SFlem I agree the buyer needs to be educated. I also feel sellers who normally deal in used parts should be responsible in representing and identifying their parts accurately. I've ran into more then one seller mainly on ebay that state the part fits something when it does not. As a buyer if, someone does not have a parts book or the part being sold does not have a part number it can be tough. Now I'm not talking about the individual who sells the occasional part. In that case the seller should let them know like was done in this case that he did not know. What I would have done is take the guys number and get back to him or tell him buyer be ware.
