Also the single front wheel is hurting you. For what ever reason people just don't like them.
Including me. I bought a 300 with the single front at a good discount because po couldn't sell it. It has a fast hitch, which is really cool, but any implement attached made the front end so light it didn't have enough traction to steer.
I swapped it out for a dual front and added some weight and now it's perfect.
The economy is your biggest problem. It's real easy to find a tractor in much better shape, if not restored, for not much more money. Darn sure cheaper than restoring one.
I saw a restored M sell for $3K that had over 7k worth of work done to it.
