It was the inline 12 volt to 6 volt resistor. I now have it running good where all I have to do is bump the starter and it comes to life. Thanks for all the help. But now I have a "bigger" boo-boo. I filled the radiator and it starting leaking water from the flywheel area. I took the flywheel cover off, but can't see the leak. Is there anything else it can be besides a cracked block? I'm reluctant to break it in half because of its size compared to my size and condition. I thought about stop-leak, but its a pretty good drip. Any ideas? Thanks, Merlin.
