T-Bone - It's That "First Time Learning Exp." We're ALL trying to get through isn't it? hehehehehe. I suppose you could set an engine rich enough to blow enough gasoline out the exhaust to run another engine. Never tried it or seen it done. Maybe the trick would be to use a diesel engine! I know You've got a Dodge Cummins coming. I've got a Powerstroke. I remember Dad trying to grind corn in the corn crib with the 4010 diesel. Only took about 2 minutes to gas us both out of the crib. We put the M back on the grinder for good after that! No chance of any fuel left to burn in diesel exh.. But there may be oxygen left. And it would mix with the gasoline in the tank, and Boom again... Oh Well. I don't have an Acetylene torch set, and I'm not going to MIG or ARC weld a gas tank. If I had a leaker, I'd seal it with something advertised from "THE SHOP" in RED POWER, or leave it to a prof. welder to braze up.
