Nice buy - especially so with the 3pt hitch.
FWIW: I have both a Farmall h and a Farmall M. I am actually considering removing the light bar from them both and relocating the lights somewhere else. With that bar out of the way I think I can weld up some steps and make the tractor mountable from in front of the wheels similar to how one mounts most modern tractors (instead of climbing dangerously up the rear which is much more difficult especially if they have 3 pt hitch on them which mine do).
Granted I know this will not be original and the original police will have a fit, but who cares. As your purchase proves, these tractors are not worth all that much anyway (although they should sell for much more than they do). Besides anything I weld up will merely bolt onto the tractor so it could easily be removed and the tractor put back to original if desired. I hope to get this done next year sometime as I think it will make the tractors much safer to climb aboard. (especially if the wife drives the tractor sometimes.....)
