Carl, from upstate NY,(30 below not uncommon) just a couple more tidbits 1) make sure you have no accumulation of water in the gearbox to freeze and bind, maybe causing BIG problems 2) park so as to roll start, on wood or plywood scraps so she don't freeze into the mud. front tires too. It wont take too big a ramp. 3)set up carb and ignition stuff so she fires up on 2nd or 3rd pull of HAND CRANK, every time. (assuming mag start). If this works, the battery should get it Roll and hand crank as backups. hope this help d
