Right now, I'm waiting for a friend of mine to turn me a new control shaft for the tel-a-depth quadrant. The small end that holds the handle twisted off in my hands. Poor design, only lasted 55 years. I welded it but it broke again when I tried to put it back together.
The ground out at the farm might not be a good place to test this, though. It's tough plowing ground, always has been. The 240 doesn't have any ballast either, so it may just be embarrassing.
