Getting up in the years and eight years older than I am but it still has the heart of a teenager. Did a little research and number crunching on the serial numbers. According to the serial numbers posted on this site my M was made during the last days of 1941. Further crunching got me these results. 1942 serial number start 50988 1941 serial number start 25371 number of units made 25617 or about 493 units per week. The serial number on my M is 50727 (frame) and 50018 (motor). Unit 50988 minus 493 leaves 50495 units. In 1941 Christmas fell on a Thursday leaving only three days in the final week. My tractor rolled out just prior to or right after Christmas. 25,617 units were made that year and wasn't topped until after the war when 33065 units were made in 1949. Someone correct me if I misinterpreted the info.
