PTO HYD PUMP ???

I am putting a pto hyd pump on my 47 M and would like to know where the presure hose on the pump goes? Does it go on the in or out side of the hyd valve? Also what is the screw under the little cap on the valve? I was told it can adjust the presure. I just put a carb kit in it today and it runs better the ever. Thanks for the help!
