Thats the way its supposed to be. Does the rotor line up with the tower when it snaps. Recomend to soak the drive end in kerosene or diesel fuel to clean the impulse drive then blow with air to make sure its clean. This is to remove any buil-up of dirt,grease ect. Did you remember where the rotor was pointed when you removed it as you will be in time or 180 out.
