The pto on our B414 diesel has started jumping out of gear. We've pulled the lever out of the side and rebuilt the pin that engages/disengages the collar inside the tractor, but that didn't help. We've also pulled the rear pto shaft out, and it looks like the shift collar is barely hanging on the front shaft when the pto shift lever is in the fully engaged position. Also, it appears that when the rear shaft is installed, the front shaft goes into the bushing on the rear about a half inch. I've read that some people have bent the lever to get it to engage further, but since the collar is barely on the front shaft, is it possible that the shaft has moved forward, therefore not allowing full engagement? Thanks in advance!
