I wanted to post an update on my progress with my 17gpm pump upgrade in my 606. I installed the new pump and suction tube and it went together very easily. On the filter side input on my filter extender kit but noticed that the filter had a large opening on the exterior side. After some research I found out that I needed to order a filter bypass valve before I put the filter, extension and lid on the tractor. I did that and that side went together very nicely too! Also when putting on a dry pump I filled it with oil through the hole where the filter attaches until it came out before I put the filter in. It started and now it sounds way way louder than it did before. It whines and it seems to get a little quieter when I steer left or right. The whining also seems to be coming not from the pump below which I would say indicates gears clashing but it's coming from the flow divider valve area. I'm hoping I could get some help with this yet as to what I should check out or test.
