Will PTO go on HV?

The HV we bought doesn't have a PTO, just a cover. Today we went to our local junkyard and bought a PTO shaft, the shaft inside, the housing, and the engaging lever. This HV has never had a PTO before. Will this PTO go on without fuss? It would be cool to run our New Idea 323 with the tall machine.
