HI RED well i was operating a brush hog out in the pasture field when it sputtered a few times and quite.i now thought the sedimate bowl needed cleaning .but after i cleaned it twice and it still didnt want to run it would start sputter a few times and quite. next i went looking for the points being the first time in a farmall distributor i took out the two screws behind the rotor button and pulled out the small gear drivethat turns the button. if im right this is probably where i got it out of time. am i right about this. so i filed the points a little bit they were a little rough. and it has not ran again after this day. but i havent really had much time to really work on it .got really busy at work making asphalt. in the fall we get really busy sometimes 7 days a week. but now im on my winter break for about a month of r&r
