: Just put a new 5ft. Woods mower on my Super A, low gear seems a little under powered, second gear is way under powered and heats a little, mowing about 2 to 21/2 inches high, front of deck about 3/4 lower than back, turns easy by hand, any good ideals would sure help. Had a B Allis with same set up and it would play with it, I know it's more HOSS but figured the red paint would make up the difference? Thanks for any help, Wesley

Changed the plugs, new points, played with timming, took carb. off and cleaned & blowed out, the old Super A does feel better now, but hard to tell as I have all the grass cut, (looking for grass to cut, does anyone have some?)I think it is better as we can ajust the carb. now, before it wouldn't do anything when you ajusted the air flow. We will re post this when we get her on a good hard pull. Thanks for all the help for now, thats what makes this such a great site, just wished I knowed something so I could help out a little. Wesley

He got this wild idea that we should get a convoy of AC tractors and drive them from Charlotte, Michigan 105 miles to LaGrange, Indiana. ... [Read Article]
