Just replaced the alternator on a Ford 8N Tractor thinking it was bad because i pulled the positive terminal off and the tractor died.ok i put on a new alternator and a new gauge on when i pull the positive terminal off the tractor dies just like before. Anyone have any ideas on the wiring for my alternator? It's not charging I have the standard plastic fuse like plug that has two wires going into it plugged in with one wire going to the alternator and the other i think it’s on the ignition switch. Yes i need to quit and go home but i am trying to help out my 84 old dad with this. Somewhere along the way he got it wired wrong.any help would be appreciated. Shane
