I agree, to use their (Smart Gauges) absolutely best connection method, it takes so many cables n connections Id fear voltage drop at any or all of them which is why Id just use their method 2 of + on one battery - on the other, which isnt all that hard or extra effort. As Ive learned soooooooooo many times NEVER SAY NEVER LOL there are always tiny exceptions, especially in engineering.
