One of my guys put some 32:1 gas/oil mix in my John Deere 4400 yesterday that we plow sidewalks with at a big job. He ran it for a "little while". I don't know for sure what the percent of gas was in the diesel. As soon as I was told, my mechanic and I went and dumped everything we could from all lines and tank. Sure looked like a lot of gas to me. Checked the oil, etc. and re-filled with diesel, crossed my fingers, and it ran fine. Think the injection pump will go bad first, does the engine get hot and internal problems will show up later or ???? Engine has 1,400 hours on it and it was 15 degrees yesterday. It ran again this morning for 3 hours with no smoking, overheating, etc. Man was I mad yesterday. This is a sweet set up for us-4 position blade on front, drop spreader on back, cab, heat, etc. All of our fuel cans are labeled and color coded, all fuel caps are also to match the different fuel types. He's ran this machine for two years, just don't know what happened. What's your guess on the engine? Thanks.

He got this wild idea that we should get a convoy of AC tractors and drive them from Charlotte, Michigan 105 miles to LaGrange, Indiana.
