No i would not drive more then a mile to save. But anymore i do not think people even look at price . And for the most part how many pay with CIF ( cash in fist) it is to much of a hassle when payen with cash . First ya have to pull up to the pump then go in and pay then back to the car-truck and pump , all the while the person setting waiting on you to do this is flipping you the bird for holding them up. But they do not think about the fact that they are paying way more then i did with CIF as if they don't get that card paid off before the next billing date they payed how much more in interest . I see it here in my town as Speedway is always the first to jack prices twenty to twentyfive cents a gallon above the rest , but if you drive five blocks east you may save up to 30 cents a gallon . Nope they flock to speed way and whip out the card and go , why because the other station requires CASH . And OH the place that requires CASH we get better mileage off there gas like two more per gallon . For some reason our Durango is real fussy about what gas goes in it Speedway Wal Marts gas(Murphy's usa) gas B/P and a couple others run thru it like water . Shell and the place that requires CASH the Durango has more getty up and go and will avg. 15 mpg running around Shell will do the same . Out on the road it will do almost 18 The others will do between 12.-13.7 and 15 on the highway an be real doggy on the hills. The wife-WAR DEPT. does a lot of driving with her job with the girl scouts and keeps real good track of mileage and fuel use and where the gas was bought .

Today's Featured Article - Chores - by Frank Young. The ceaseless passing of time! It is at once our friend and our enemy. It measures our progress and it makes us old. Like most features of our life, few things are all good or all bad, and most such judgments depend on our own perspective or viewpoint. In our particular hobby, we enjoy the nostalgic return to the days of our youth as we recreate many of the scenes that took place on the family farm that served as the stage for the first few acts of the play that is our live ...
