we all know that we cant save every thing joe we just want to save a few examples so other people can see what farming started with its just like saving anything else to put in a musem thats why your starting to see more equip at shows they are saveing it i think all of us are okay with parting out i know the old farmer striped a few parts of my old B John deere in the trees so he could save his mine was beyond the point of saving so part it out to save a good tractor that needs it i buy some old stuff once in a while i use it still on my small hobby farm i had 30 acres so i decided toi rent a 80 this year and when my old 490 john deere planter broke i knew i could head over to the old farmers place and buy some parts of one some times its kind of nice to have the stuff in the trees or know were the stuff is if we scraped every thing i would never have found parts for my machines. and just like you say keep farmin
