Ok, all you boo birds.

In 2007 I started looking in Feb-March for a new tractor. Wanted mid range hp, cab, loader, 4wd, shuttle shift, comfortable seating and amenities.

I looked at all the locals consisting of 2 reds, an orange, green, and blue. Got tired of looking and by June had given up.

Was driving down the IS one day in Sept. and saw this row of sharp looking red tractors. In short, I bought one, their model 6530C at 65 engine, 57 pto hp. Not cheap. paid $37k for it. Butttt the dealer did what no other dealer offered to do......took 3 tractors in trade: JD 4010 with loader, MF 35 with Perkins diesel, and Ford 3000D. Saved me a ton of money.

Built by Kukje Heavy industries in S. Korea. Comes with a Cummins licensed direct injected 4 cyl diesel by Komatsu heavy equipment in Tokyo. Kukje has been in business since '69 and Komatsu is the other name you see at construction sites along with CAT.

Since then I have had an air conditioner tensioner bearing go out and a new one in my hand in 3 days, no charge. Only part problem.

A few weeks ago I broke the glass in the rt door, should have known better, and had a new one in my hand via UPS in 4 days out of one of their wearhouses in Plainview, TX., $640 including $130 in UPS fees. They have 200 dealerships nationwide.

I have a 14 shank cultivator with 10" sweeps and 3 rows of spring fingers that I used to pull with my 100 hp 2wd JD 4230 in mid range gears. I easily pull it with this little tugger on less than half the fuel in mid range gears (has 24 of them with shuttle shifter). Also, to keep things nice and comfy, I have a standard equipment air seat with built in air compressor just like the big boys in the 18 wheelers have but self contained air pump.

3 PTO speeds
Choice of Live or Independent PTO electrically switched.
Automatic 3 pt operation with pre set sensors; just flip a switch.
3 pt lift control at the rear where you need it most along with locking sway bars for the arms and adjustable tips....makes one person hooking up an implement a walk in the park.
HD oil bath front drive assy...no zerks to grease.
Tilt and telescoping steering wheel.
Joy stick loader operation
etc.

These tractors are as fine an engineered and built product as you will find anywhere. Everything is first class. It even has an oil cooler for the hyd fluid and I don't remember any of the name sakes having one on their compact tractors of this hp.

They are not chinese crap and you can quit referring to them as such!

Mark

Today's Featured Article - The 8N and the Fox - by Zane Sherman. Dec. 13 1998, Renfroe, Alabama. Last niht I dreamed about the day that I plowed the field of about 10 acres over on what Jimmy and Dandy called the Ledbetter field. I was driving the 1948 8N Ford tractor that Jimmy bought in 48 new This was prebably in about 1951 and maybe even befor the house was built. This would have made me to be about16 years old and I drove the tractor for nothing and would have paid to drive it if I had had any money which I didn't, but neit ... [Read Article]
