You fellows sure make me feel much better. Three or four years ago I bought one of those clip on pulley brake pads for my 60 tractor. Took the old one off and decided it would be OK for another year or so,so laid the new one back in a parts cabinet in the shop. Finished spraying and putting nitrate on corn this spring with the old 60 and decided to check the brake pad again. The new pad was nowhere to be found so ordered another new one from the friendly JD dealer. Before it came in I found the first one just where I had left it in the cabinet. Went ahead and took the ordered one so I'll have another to loose. They had increased in price from eight dollars to twenty seven dollars in that three or four years time.
Been thinking about cashing a cd and investing it in pulley brake pads, but then I might forget where I stored them. Joe
