Not to put water on your flames, but you can still find a few reasonably priced NOS parts there. It is simply a function of they missed them somehow. Here is a line that is generally spoken in their shops. You ask why the price is so high on NOS parts, and there are two answers. One, "THEY ARE VERY RARE AND LOW USAGE THEREFORE IT COST MORE TO WAREHOUSE THEM."
Or, "WE SELL SO MANY OF THESE IT COST MORE TO KEEP THEM STOCKED." Anytime there is more than one answer to the same question, you can bet at least one answer is a lie.
The real real truth is this. They basically ignored antique tractor owners and NOS parts until someone saw that the aftermarket guys and NOS parts sellers were making some money due to the demand. They then decided to jump in it and ran the prices on many items sky high, etc.
