John, I agree with you. Don't see any change. We will still have grid lock with a split house and senate.
If there is anything good from stopping the XL pipeline, it's that thumper has been busy in Terre Haute. Thumper, survey crews looking for oil under the city.
Don't know the facts about oil production on private lands if it's increasing or decreasing. Sure looks like they think there is oil under the city.
Like everything else, sure someone will be against drilling. Just like they are against running a High voltage lines from out west to send the power from the windmills to the east where it's needed. The GREENIES want wind power but they can't do anything with it. Go figure. Too many NIMBYS.
If I were in charge, I would say no tax dollars are spent on green energy, until all people are on board with the production and transportation of it. Or we don't spend money on solar cells when they know ahead of time there is no profit in making them.
I have another idea for the greenies. Use the electricity from the windmills and convert water into clean hydrogen and oxygen.
Would someone would crunch the numbers on how profitable would it be to use hydrogen fuel cells to power our cars? Short term use hydrogen in place of gas in our cars.
Hope someday we as a country come up with an energy plan and stop importing oil.
I sure hope our country isn't going the way of Spain, Italy and France where they spend more money than is comming and our credit is in the toilet. George

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
