Use a four jaw chuck and a three point center at he other end use a good gage to center it. It's not easy and take a good lathe and good knowledge of how to due do it. You will also need a carbide bit to cut the hard material in the sleeve. It's not for the beginner with a cheap home lathe and little to know training as a machinest. Walt Sorry if I messed up some of he names I'm worried about my wife I found her lying on the floor when I got out of bed this morning she disoriented and very week. We spent all day in the ER they found she had a infected bladder and that she was dehydrated. They also told me has dementia which is not good. They wanted me to put her in a home with full time care but I just couldn't do that we have been together for over 44 years and it's hard to not have her at home beside. I know someday it will happen but I'm going to do my best to keep at home with me. She 87 and most likely won't live that long. I want her to be happy with me not sad in some strange place away from her farm.
