Acrylic enamel can be sprayed without hardener. If you didn't use hardener in the first coat and then use it in the top coat, your top coat will either blister or crack. The solvent's cure slower in the bottom coat and the ethers have to go some where, so they break through the top surface that has cured or dried faster due to the hardner in the top coat. What ever you used in the first coat...ditto the second coat.
