: HI ITS TIM HERE AGAIN I AM REPLYING TO YOUR E-MAIL THAT YOU SENT ME , OUR TRACTOR MODEL IS 1955 FORDSON DIESEL MAJOR WITH DRUM BRAKES.THE INJECTOR PUMP HAS NOT BEEN REMOVED BUT HAS A DIFFERENT INJECTOR IN CYLINDER NO1 WHEN IT HAD THE HEAD REBUILD. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO SET THE CYLINDERS ON THE RIGHT COMPRESSION STROKE TO SET THE VALVE SETTINGS eg HAVE NUMBER ONE CYLINDER ONE TOP DEAD CENTRE BUT WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. WE HAVE A I&T SHOP MANUAL BUT IS TO HARD TO FOLLOW. when each cylender is at top dead center both valves are closed after#1 then#2 then#4 then#3 I don't know what your origanal problem is my 56 has the vacuum governor and excess fuel button, I have had the gov stick in the closed position (no fuel to injectors) good luck Randy
