Wondering if anybody on here might know something that i haven't thought of yet to removing the steering wheel on my IH 1600 loadstar dumptruck. It is splined and yes i've used a half a can of PB Blaster on it, sprayed it everyday for weeks, i can't put much heat to it due to all the wires and plastic under it. I tried the two holes in the center with a puller but it would not budge, so next i put a flat piece of metal under the spokes on each side of the wheel and used a two arm puller, ended up with a 24 inch breaker bar & socket and tighened the puller as tight as i could get it, still won't budge, even tapped on the end of the puller with a hammer to try to jar it loose. I'm thinking now its time to just cut it off somehow and get another steering wheel unless someone has a idea i haven't thought of!! :o)
