last fall after we finished picking, I was taking our john deere 18 picker back to the barn and the right snout hit dirt and crumpled, I am just getting around to fixing it and I have a right hand snout off a early 70's john deere grain head, with a little torch work and some grinding, I think it will work. what do you guys think? have any of you ever done anything similar?
