John, 148 footplates are entirely different and also unavailable new. I can get 168/188 footplates but they are too wide, the 135 type are too short and it is not a simple matter of adding a bit to 135 plates as the 148 plates have two strengthening grooves running the length of the plate. Not many 148s breaking either due to the high price they command at auction. Email me if you want to discuss any parts for a 148. I do have some parts. Sam
